Prof. Tim Newton

Tim Newton is Professor of Psychology as Applied to Dentistry and Honorary Consultant Health Psychologist at King’s College London Dental Institute. Tim has worked in the behavioural sciences in relation to dentistry for over 25 years, and his particular interests include the management of dental anxiety, interventions to enhance oral health related behaviour and the working life of the dental team. He has published over 300 peer reviewed articles in scientific journals. He is an Honorary Member of the British Orthodontic Society. In 2015 he was lucky enough to be awarded the IADR Behavioural, Epidemiological & Health Services Research Distinguished Scientist Award.
